TRADITIONAL AMERICAN MUSIC IS ALIVE AND WELL at the FOLK ALLIANCE!  Thanks in big part to the efforts of Andy Cohen, old songs-- plain and simple, sung only with acoustic guitars and with minimal "arrangements"-- come and hear some of practitioners of the great songs that have been around for centuries!  Larry Hanks & Deborah Robins will perform several times and in varying venues throughout the conference.

For the second season in a row, Traditional Music at the Russell's hosts American Songster: Larry Hanks and sweetheart, Deborah Robins, for an afternoon of acoustic American music. On the heels of their warmly-received 1st duo album, "No Hiding Place", they proudly present their 2nd new CD chock full of "brand spankin' OLD" songs, "OLD DAYS", --including grand familiar favorites, and many surprises in store. For the legendary Bay Area favorite, Larry Hanks, this commemorates his full-time return to live performance, and several years of collaboration/US and European touring with his wife and musical partner.
